Job Description
We are seeking an
Intermediate Systems Administrator to join our Operations team and provide reliable, secure, and high-availability infrastructure support. This role is critical to maintaining and improving enterprise server environments, supporting 24x7 production operations, and collaborating closely with cross-functional IT teams. The successful candidate will be technically strong, security-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, always-on environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer, maintain, and support Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Windows Server environments, including patching, upgrades, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Provide after-hours on-call support as part of a 24x7 production operations rotation, ensuring timely incident resolution.
- Monitor system performance, capacity, and availability using standard monitoring tools; proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Implement and manage change management processes, ensuring all infrastructure changes are planned, documented, tested, and executed in compliance with standards.
- Perform security hardening, vulnerability remediation, and incident response in alignment with enterprise security best practices.
- Support and manage virtualized environments using VMware vSphere, vCenter, and Red Hat OpenStack.
- Collaborate with network, database, security, and application teams to ensure seamless infrastructure integration and operational stability.
- Participate in disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity planning, testing, and execution.
- Automate operational and administrative tasks using Ansible, Python, PowerShell, or Bash to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.

- Server Administration: RHEL and Windows Server (3–5 years)
- Networking Concepts: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing (3–5 years)
- Security Fundamentals: Firewalls, IDS/IPS, vulnerability management (3–5 years)
- Virtualization: VMware vSphere, vCenter, Red Hat OpenStack (3–5 years)
- Automation & Scripting: Ansible, Python, PowerShell, Bash (3–5 years)
