Position Summary :
As a Systems Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and performance of systems, controls, and software. The role involves technical review, risk assessment, test case validation, and maintaining compliance with safety standards, contributing to the integrity of systems.

Key Responsibilities
1. Technical Review:
- Participate in technical reviews of system, design, and implementation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess technical documentation and ensure alignment with project requirements and industry best
practices.
- Identify and escalate technical issues or deviations from established standards.
- Continuously monitor and track the effectiveness of TRM scorecards.
2. Risk Review:
- Participate in risk assessment activities to identify potential system vulnerabilities, failures, and security risks.
- Work closely with the team to develop risk mitigation strategies and action plans.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate system performance to proactively address emerging risks.
3. Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure that all systems meet local, national, and international safety standards (e.g., OSHA, IEC 61508, ISO 13849).
- Incorporate safety considerations in system design, including emergency stop mechanisms, safe access points, and error recovery protocols.
- Perform safety validation tests and audits during project commissioning.
4. Test Case Validation:
- Validate test cases for system functionality, control systems, and software applications considering success criteria and project objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that test cases are comprehensive, accurate, and align with system requirements.
- Execute and supervise the execution of test cases, analyze FAT and SAT results, and provide feedback for improvements through on-site visits.
5. Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain comprehensive records of technical reviews, risk assessments, and test case validation activities.
- Generate reports summarizing findings, recommendations, and actions taken.
- Communicate technical information effectively to project stakeholders and management.
6. Continuous Improvement:
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to system engineering.
- Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality in system engineering activities.
7. Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering teams and project management professionals, to ensure seamless integration of systems.
- Communicate effectively and facilitate discussions to resolve technical issues and ensure project goals are met.
8. Site Travel and Support:
- Travel to project sites for system commissioning, troubleshooting, and performance validation. o Conduct on-site inspections to ensure proper integration and compliance with design specifications.
- Collaborate with site teams to resolve technical challenges and ensure system readiness for handover.
Work, Health, Safety & Environment (WHS&E) Responsibilities
- Ensure all activities comply with WHS&E standards and contribute to maintaining a safe working environment.

Knowledge/Experience & Competence Req
- Bachelors degree in electrical/mechanical engineering or related field (Master's preferred). Proven experience in system engineering in technical/industrial settings.
- Strong knowledge of system architecture, controls, and software development. Proficiency in risk assessment and test validation processes.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
