System Engineer
Your role:
- Translating business and user requirements to product requirements.
- Developing the product verification strategy.
- Reviewing verification results to confirm product requirements are met.
- Identifying and mitigating areas of technical risk by following the product design FMEA process.
- Communication of V-model maturity during product development to management
You are a part of:
- Philips Oral Healthcare Systems Engineering team in the Innovation & Development department. You will be an important part of the Global New Product Development (NPD) core team, interacting with the Project Manager, Marketing Manager, Product Researcher and a variety of technical subject matter experts.
You're the right fit if
- Minimum-Bacheloru2019s Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Biomedical Engineering, Master's Degree (Desired)
- Minimum 6+ yearsu2019 experience in product development (experience in a regulated medical device/systems environment preferred)
- Knowledgeable in product Verification/Validation (V&V)
- Awareness/Experience in Technical Risk Assessment/FMEA
- Familiarity/Experience with Requirements management (Knowledge of using a RMS tool like DOORS or similar system is preferred)
- Experience in Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) methods/tools (Preferred)
