Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a System Engineer - L3 based in Kochi. The System Engineer will be responsible for designing, maintaining, and managing systems to ensure reliability and performance. Daily tasks include performing advanced troubleshooting, delivering technical support, administering IT systems, and designing innovative system solutions to meet client needs.

Job Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and manage Windows Desktop OS Windows Server OS infrastructure in multi-site environments

Administer and maintain Active Directory, GPO, DNS, and DHCP

Manage and support Microsoft Exchange Server (on-prem and hybrid)

Administer Microsoft 365 (Office 365), including email, licensing, and advanced configuration

Deploy and manage Microsoft Intune for endpoint and mobile device management

Lead and support Hyper-V and VMware virtualization platforms, including high availability and clustering

Design, deploy, and manage solutions on Microsoft Azure and AWS platforms

Develop backup strategy and Perform test backup and disaster recovery

Troubleshoot complex system, network, and cloud issues; serve as the final escalation point for L1/L2 engineers

Basic administration of Firewall

Write Scope of Work Documents for infrastructure projects

Maintain service level agreements (SLAs) and ensure compliance with IT standards

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support security, networking, and infrastructure projects

Mentor junior engineers and document technical procedures and solutions

Skills Required:

Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, and Office 365

Proficient in Microsoft Intune and endpoint management

Advanced knowledge of Hyper-Vand VMware, including performance tuning and failover clusters

Experience managing workloads in Microsoft Azure (IaaS, VMs, networking, storage)

Familiarity with AWS infrastructure services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM)

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for both on-prem and cloud environments

Ability to lead projects, write documentation, and contribute to process improvement

Proficiency in Tools (RMM/Ticketing/Documentation/Backup)

Professional Skills:

Three-year Diploma or Graduate or Postgraduate

Relevant certification would be a plus

Essential requirement:

Willing to work in dedicated night shift

Excellent communication skills
