We are looking for a System Engineerto deliver innovative functionalities to our customers and optimize our next generation of Open-RAN base-station products in LTE. This role is based in Indiaand requires occasional travel for customer Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and live site deployments.
What you'll do:- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support customer trials, PoCs, and live deployments when required
- Analyze cellular system issues reported from internal labs or observed in the field by customers
- Ensure the product conformance to the Technology Specifications (Open RAN, 3GPP)
- Contribute to reviewing the design of new radio cellular features (e.g., rate adaptation, power control, scheduler, interference mitigation)
- Challenge the implemented solutions and suggest improvements
- Take ownership of features from early Proof of Concept through software implementation and release to customers
What you should have:- Experience 4 to 10 years of experience in the relevant field
- Expertise in really good 3GPP Radio protocols (LTE or 5G) & a strong understanding of wireless communication theory
- Product and customer-oriented mindset with high curiosity for innovative solutions
- Experience as a system engineer, including specification definition, verification, and software development methodologies
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a global, multi-site environment
- Willingness to travel occasionally for customer PoCs and live site deployments
- Fluent English & Technical Communication
- Hands on Capability for Lab setup/Testing.
- Automation skills such as Automating Test -Python, Bash
Education:- BE/Btech or Masters in relevant field with a major in Computer Science / Electronics communication theory and systems and/or signal processing
