The Role: Why Logic-First
We are not looking for a syntax expert. We are looking for a Super Strong Software Engineer who masters Computer Science fundamentals. While our current stack is built on Golang, we believe a candidate with exceptional logical reasoning, a deep understanding of Data Structures & Algorithms (DSA), and strong systems knowledge can master any language.
Responsibilities
- Architect Scalable Systems: Design and build high-performance distributed systems capable of handling high-frequency financial transactions.
- Solve Complex Logic: Tackle algorithmic challenges related to portfolio management, order matching, and real-time data processing.
- Data Integrity: Ensure 100% accuracy in financial data across relational (PostgreSQL) and non-relational (Redis/MongoDB) stores using ACID principles.
- System Optimization: Profile and optimize code for maximum speed and efficient memory management.
- Collaborate: Work with cross-functional teams to translate complex financial products into clean, maintainable code.
Core Qualifications
- Strong Logic & DSA: Exceptional problem-solving skills with a deep understanding of time/space complexity, advanced data structures, and algorithmic optimization.
- Computer Science Fundamentals: Mastery of Operating Systems (threading, memory management), Networking (TCP/IP, HTTP/2), and Database internals (indexing, locking).
- Language Agnostic Mastery: 4-5 years of experience in any backend language (Go, Java, C++, or Python) with the ability to demonstrate clean code principles (SOLID, DRY).
- Distributed Systems: Experience with Microservices architecture, containerization (Docker/K8s), and REST/gRPC.
- High-Stakes Experience: Proven track record of building production-grade applications where reliability and security are non-negotiable.
Bonus Points
- Prior experience in Fintech or Wealth-tech.
- Familiarity with Event-Driven Architectures (Kafka/RabbitMQ).
- Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Open-source contributions or a strong portfolio of complex personal projects.
