About Role:

In this role, you will contribute to building and operating highly reliable, scalable, and observable storage infrastructure that supports global product teams. You will lead the Control Plane and Observability components of a next-generation storage solution, enabling visibility, reliability, and operational excellence across distributed systems.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop the Control Plane and Observability frameworks for a next-generation distributed storage system supporting global eCommerce platforms.
- Build automation tools and operational frameworks that simplify deployment, operations, and maintenance of large-scale infrastructure.
- Improve developer productivity and operational efficiency through intelligent tooling and automation.
- Maintain software hygiene, reliability, and performance for the services owned by the team.
- Contribute to maintenance-driven development projects to enhance system stability and scalability.
- Ensure operational excellence by responding to production incidents, troubleshooting complex issues, and resolving support tickets.
- Manage and mitigate compliance and operational risks associated with the services owned and supported by the team.
- Support strategic initiatives such as large-scale data migrations and infrastructure modernization projects.
Basic Qualifications
- Experience automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure systems
- Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Go, Java, C++, C#, or Rust
- Strong experience with Linux/Unix environments
- Experience building or working with CI/CD pipelines and automated build/deployment processes
- Experience building or operating large-scale distributed systems
