Title: System Assurance Test Analyst
Role Summary
We are seeking a System Assurance Test Analyst who is having 5 to 8 yrs of experience, to
join our new shared capability centre (HSCC) based in Hyderabad, integrating into our
broader, Global Operating Model.
You will assist in the development and implementation of test strategies and plans,
primarily focused on the Workday HR system and other functional requirements. You'll
support various aspects of testing, including functional, regression, integration, and
performance testing.
Collaborating closely with your team and other areas of People Technology, you'll
contribute to the execution of functional and end-to-end testing, including unit testing
within Technology systems. Experience or familiarity with Workday automation tools will be
an added advantage
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and implementing comprehensive test strategies and plans,
focusing on the Workday HR system and functional requirements.
- Collaborate with the testing team and management to execute functional,
regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Participate in unit testing within Technology systems as directed.
- Work with HR and IT teams to document, prioritize, and track defects and issues
identified during testing, ensuring timely resolution and retesting.
- Contribute to ensuring Workday's compliance with data security and privacy
regulations, potentially participating in periodic security testing.
- Prepare detailed test reports, including status updates, defect tracking, and test
coverage analysis.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for audit and reference purposes.
- Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvements within testing
methodologies, tools, and workflows to optimize HR system performance.
- Design, maintain, and execute Workday test automation scripts using available
tools (e.g., Workday Automation Framework or 3rd-party tools), where applicable
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Prior experience in system assurance testing, preferably with exposure to HR
systems and Workday.
- Familiarity with testing methodologies and tools.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Exposure to Workday automation tools is a plus
