About The Opportunity
We are hiring within the Healthcare IT / HealthTech sectorfocused on clinical systems integration, interoperability, and secure patient-data exchange across EHRs and partner applications. Primary Job Title: API Systems Analyst - Healthcare Interoperability. Location: India (Remote).
Role & Responsibilities
- Translate clinical and product requirements into clear API specifications (OpenAPI/Swagger) and interface designs for EHR and third-party integrations.
- Design, validate, and maintain FHIR and HL7 interfaces including data mapping, transformation, and reconciliation across systems.
- Create and execute integration and API test plans using Postman and automation tools; diagnose and resolve data-quality and performance issues.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, clinical SMEs, and vendors to define acceptance criteria, deployment steps, and rollback plans.
- Implement and enforce API security and access controls (OAuth2, JWT) and support incident response and root-cause analysis for integration failures.
- Maintain technical documentation, interface diagrams, runbooks, and support onboarding for development and support teams.
