The ideal candidate is responsible for maintaining the design, stability, and integrity of both customer-facing and internal systems, while providing technical assistance to team members for system, server, and network-related requests.
Responsibilities
- Monitor system and network resources and perform preventive maintenance
- Backup system and network configurations and regularly test restore processes
- Provide IT support for internal systems, servers, and network infrastructure
- Assist with virtualization environments such as VMware ESXi and Proxmox VE
- Support basic VM operations (creation, monitoring, snapshots, backups)
- Assist with Windows and Linux server installation, patching, and upgrades
- Troubleshoot system, virtualization, and network-related issues
- Document system, network, and virtualization standards and procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- Basic understanding of Windows Server and Linux
- Exposure to virtualization technologies (VMware / Proxmox) is a plus
- Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Ability to multitask, organize, and prioritize work
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Quick learner in a dynamic environment
- 13 years of relevant experience (Freshers with strong fundamentals are encouraged to apply)
