We are seeking an Infrastructure Administrator to support semiconductor engineering workflows by managing and maintaining stable, secure, and high-performance IT and lab environments for design, verification, and validation teams. The role involves ensuring high availability and optimal performance of infrastructure, including hardware systems, EDA tools, and engineering development environments. The candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of systems while ensuring secure and reliable operations. The role also includes collaborating with engineering teams to optimize lab operations and improve overall infrastructure efficiency.
Your tasks
- Managing and maintaining IT infrastructure for engineering and lab environments, including servers, networks, storage, and secure connectivity
- Supporting EDA tools, Linux and Windows workstations, CI/CD pipelines, and lab hardware such as FPGA, embedded devices, and validation equipment
- Ensuring system availability, performance, and reliability across engineering infrastructure components
- Monitoring and troubleshooting infrastructure issues to ensure smooth engineering operations
- Coordinating with engineering teams to support lab setup, upgrades, and operational requirements
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in Linux and Windows system administration
- Networking knowledge, including switches, routers, firewalls, VPN, and network segmentation
- Experience with storage systems, including NAS, SAN, and backup solutions
- Knowledge of EDA tool environments and Slurm cluster management, and Familiarity with Git and basic CI/CD pipeline support
- Fluent English required
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Proxmox, OpenLDAP
- Hardware lab tools (FPGA, Raspberry Pi, NUCs, test equipment)
- Scripting/automation basics
- CI/CD tooling support
- EDA domain experience (chip design/verification environments)
