Description
We are seeking an experienced System Administrator to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience managing and maintaining IT systems in a corporate environment. The System Administrator will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and performance of our IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain servers, storage systems, and networking equipment.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as needed.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access levels.
- Ensure system security by implementing and maintaining appropriate security measures.
- Maintain system backups and disaster recovery plans.
- Develop and maintain documentation for all system configurations and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in system administration.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in system administration.
- Solid understanding of network protocols and topologies.
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
- Proficiency in one or more scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
