Job Description

As a QA Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing the functionality of applications and designing automated tests to validate their performance. You will identify bugs, install databases, and collaborate with the software design team to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Meet with the software design team to discuss verification protocols.
  • Identify software application weaknesses and target areas for improvement.
  • Design and sketch out ideas for automated software test procedures.
  • Review software bug reports and highlight problem areas.
  • Write automation scripts and implement software applications.
  • Design and install software databases.
  • Troubleshoot automation software and finalize system procedures.
  • Identify quality issues and create detailed test reports.
  • Collaborate with the design team to resolve application faults.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • 6 to 8 years of experience as a QA Automation Engineer, primarily focused on UI automation.
  • Expertise in automation frameworks such as Playwright, BDD, etc.
  • Experience with various testing techniques, including UI Testing and Automated Testing.
  • Proficiency in Javascript and basic knowledge of Java, Python, and API automation.
  • Familiarity with web security technologies and software QA tools and processes.
  • Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools.
  • Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
  • Exposure to performance and/or security testing is a plus.
