Job Description

  • SAP System Administration:
  • Administer and maintain SAP NetWeaver ABAP and Java systems.
  • Perform version, support pack, and kernel upgrades.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot SAP ECC, BI, PI, SCM, and Solution Manager environments.
  • Database Administration:
  • Install, configure, and maintain Oracle, SAP HANA, and MaxDB databases.
  • Implement Oracle Data Guard and HANA DB replication via log shipping.
  • Manage database backup/restore using tools like BRTools.
  • Conduct full and delta cache refreshes in SAP PI systems.
  • Performance Tuning & Monitoring:
  • Continuously monitor and optimize SAP system performance.
  • Use performance monitoring tools for NetWeaver Java stacks and databases.
  • Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and apply effective resolutions.
  • SAP Transport Management & Solution Manager:
  • Administer SAP TMS (Transport Management System).
  • Utilize ChaRM, Incident, and Problem Management in Solution Manager.
  • Security and Configuration:
  • Configure SSL and digital certificates in SAP PI.
  • Ensure security compliance and manage ALE settings for integration.
  • Programming and Development:
  • Develop and debug applications within SAP, aligned with tech specs.
  • Identify bugs, fix performance issues, and maintain technical documentation.
  • Project Management:
  • Support medium and large-scale SAP projects, providing technical input.
  • Collaborate with functional teams for system integration and execution.
  • Role Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of SAP NetWeaver ABAP/Java architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle, SAP HANA, and MaxDB administration.
  • Expertise in SAP upgrades (version, kernel, support packs).
  • Skilled in troubleshooting SAP ECC, BI, PI, SCM, Solution Manager.
  • Proficiency in database replication (ODG, HANA log shipping).
  • Experience with SAP TMS, UNIX/Linux OS, and PI cache refresh.
  • Knowledge of SSL/security config in SAP PI.
  • Familiarity with performance tuning for SAP and databases.
  • Programming/debugging skills and ability to prepare technical documentation.
  • SAP Basis certification is a plus.
