Role Summary
We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled System Administrator Associate II to manage and support our IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, endpoints, IT security controls, and asset lifecycle management. The role ensures system reliability, security compliance, and seamless end-user support while maintaining network integrity in alignment with ISMS standards.
Key Responsibilities
- End-User & Technical Support
- Provide technical support for hardware and software issues.
- Respond to and resolve helpdesk requests within defined SLAs.
- Install, configure, and test computer-related equipment.
- Upgrade systems to enhance functionality and security.
- System & Server Administration
- Manage and administer Windows Server platforms.
- Maintain Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and WSUS.
- Monitor system logs and address security or performance concerns.
- Create, verify, and manage data backups and restoration processes.
- Maintain file servers, VPN gateways, and intrusion detection systems.
- Network Administration
- Install and support LAN, WAN, and network infrastructure.
- Configure and maintain switches, routers, and firewalls.
- Monitor network security and ensure high availability and connectivity.
- Determine network and system requirements as per business needs.
- Infrastructure & Security Management
- Work with MDM and EDR tools for endpoint protection and compliance.
- Support patch management and vulnerability remediation activities.
- Ensure adherence to information security policies and ISMS requirements.
- IT Asset Management
- Maintain accurate inventory of IT assets including laptops, desktops, servers, and network equipment.
- Manage asset lifecycle from procurement to disposal.
- Conduct periodic asset audits and ensure license compliance.
- Coordinate secure data wiping and disposal of retired devices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Electronics & Communication / Related field.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in Windows and networking environments.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS.
- Basic understanding of firewall functionality and network security.
- Experience working with MDM and EDR tools.
- Knowledge of ISMS principles and security best practices.
