Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced System Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 4-8 years of relevant experience in the job market context of India. The System Administrator will be responsible for maintaining and upgrading our company's systems and networks to ensure optimal performance, security, and availability.
Responsibilities
- Install and configure software and hardware components
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
- Perform regular maintenance activities, such as backups and updates
- Ensure system security and data privacy
- Collaborate with other IT professionals to identify and resolve technical problems
- Provide technical support to end-users
- Document system configurations and procedures
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and recommend improvements to our IT infrastructure
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 4-8 years of experience in system administration
- In-depth knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems
- Experience with virtualization technologies, such as VMware or Hyper-V
- Strong understanding of networking protocols and technologies, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS or Azure
- Experience with scripting languages, such as PowerShell or Python
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Relevant certifications, such as MCSE, RHCE, or CCNA, are a plus
