System Admin

Description

We are seeking a motivated System Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring high levels of system performance, security, and availability.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain the performance of computer systems and networks
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems and software applications
• Manage user accounts and permissions
• Perform regular system backups and recovery operations
• Implement security protocols to safeguard systems and data
• Provide technical support to end-users and resolve issues in a timely manner
• Document system configurations, changes, and procedures

Skills and Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in system administration or related field
• Proficient in Windows and Linux operating systems
• Strong understanding of networking principles and protocols
• Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)
• Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure)
• Knowledge of security best practices and tools
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) are a plus
