Job Description

Offer Quality

  • Support the Tech Support and R&D teams on any offer quality aspects.
  • Deploy best practices of Schneider Electric in terms of SW Quality Fundamentals.
  • Manage customer escalations using the 8D method.
  • Implement Schneider Electric quality processes for new and existing offers.
  • Lead the Issue Review Board and drive escalated quality issues on a cross-functional level applying problem solving methods.
  • Drive the lessons learned process and implement best practices based on the field performance and experience.
  • Manage regular follow up and analysis of SW performance through defects, SQI, dSQI, etc.
  • Help capturing and analyzing field quality experience and feed offer development for continuous improvement.

Project Quality

  • Ensure that Offer Quality is built into each new project to make sure satisfaction is reached for potential future customers, i.e., following the Offer Lifecycle management, OLM.
  • Guarantee that the Voice of Customer is well collected and analyzed to provide robust and ranked customer requirements, including Critical to Quality aspects, to the project team.
  • Make the synthesis on lessons learned on product development and drive the feedback loop to the impacted stake holders.
  • Define Offer Quality Goals during project lifecycle to include all aspects affecting customer experience.
  • Support the deployment of new project processes following the Agile method, including Quality aspects in the PI planning, offer safety, document review, etc.
  • Make sure that risk identification, assessment and mitigation plans are managed and updated in the project (assist the Project Manager or lead by delegation).
  • Support and coach the project team on methods and quality tools needed to reach Robustness, Customer satisfaction and Quality targets.
  • Prepare the quality summary for each Milestone review and propose Go/No go decision.
  • Define the EWS (Early Warning System) together with Technical Support, Continuous Engineering, Offer Manager before product launch.
  • Ensure robustness in supplier quality for Brand Labeled SW.
  • Travel up to 25%.

Required Skills and Experiences

  • Bachelor's degree in Software Quality, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial/building Automation or similar field of studies.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of SaaS technologies, hosted cloud applications and/or enterprise software testing / development of inhouse and Brand labeled SW.
  • Good knowledge of programming languages / scripting languages and tools such as C, C++, Python, GoLang, Bash, Go, MySQL, Java, Javascript, Typescript, HTML, XML is a big advantage.
  • Good knowledge in SW Cyber security IEC62443-4-1 standard is a plus.
  • Customer application knowledge is a plus.
  • Release Management knowledge in Agile.
  • Proven work experience in software quality assurance.
  • Problem solving methods and statistics (8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa, ).
  • Strong quality process knowledge related to Software development in an Agile project environment.
  • Software Verification and Validation knowledge.
  • Lead using your Quality authority in the organization without direct reports and ability to build cross team relationships.
  • Leadership skills and ability to mobilize cross-functional activities.
  • Broad technical understanding.
  • Strong customer focused mindset.
  • Good influencing and convincing habits
