Call for internship under B.MOBILE program of B.PAC
Sustainable Mobility Intern- Bengaluru
Hands-on internship position for qualified and enthusiastic individuals to work on walkability, inclusive streets and road safety in Bengaluru.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- Conduct street audits and document field conditions for walkability and road safety through visuals and observations.
- Be open to conduct on-ground commuter feedback surveys.
- Research case studies, best practices, policies and standards.
- Prepare presentations, analyse and compile data for report.
- Prepare drawings, maps, design concepts and visual representations.
- Support during stakeholders and community engagements.
Qualification criteria:- Students/ recent Graduates or Postgraduates in the field of Architecture, Transportation, Urban Design, Urban Planning with 0-2 years of work experience.
- An organised and professional individual, with attention to detail and effective communication skills.
- Flexible and proactive attitude to do on-ground and desk work.
- Knowledge of QGIS, InDesign, Photoshop, AutoCAD, MS Powerpoint, MS Excel is important. Illustrator and Video editing skills are desired.
- Proficiency in English, and speaking skills in Kannada is desirable.
- Applicants should be residing in Bengaluru or shift here for the entire period of internship. Those staying near Vasanthnagar or Hosur road will benefit in reducing commute time.
Duration: 3-6 months
Expected Joining: Immediate
Work style: In-person
Stipend: Rs. 10,000
