MSCI Services is seeking a Sustainability (Quant) Python Data Specialist to join our team. In this role, you'll solve complex investment problems in Sustainability and Climate, directly supporting the sales of MSCI's Sustainability and Climate data, indexes, and tools.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative research in Sustainability and Climate.
- Perform advanced data handling and modeling using Excel and Python.
- Work closely with colleagues globally to continually advance the data and insights we provide to our clients.
- Communicate insights both internally and externally, delivering them to clients through PowerPoint reports or published blogs and research insights.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Economics, Finance, Environmental Studies, Climate Change, Geography, Politics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficient in Excel, and experience in Python is a must.
- A combination of an academic track record with relevant work experience that demonstrates responsibility for the delivery of models, reports, briefings, or other outputs.
- Demonstrable enthusiasm for addressing climate change in the corporate sector.
