We are actively seeking a highly strategic and experienced Sustainability Finance Manager to join our client's team through Acme Services. This pivotal role requires a professional with 6+ years of experience in sustainability, particularly in consulting or market research within Finance, ESG, Climate Finance, and Carbon Markets. The ideal candidate will lead sustainability projects & ESG initiatives, provide expert climate finance advisory, build compelling ESG business cases, and guide clients on fund mobilization, investor portfolio assessments, and responsible investment. Strong experience in client engagement & team management is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Sustainability & ESG Leadership: Lead complex sustainability projects and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) initiatives, driving impactful change and value creation.
- Climate Finance Advisory: Provide expert climate finance advisory, guiding clients on innovative financing solutions for climate-related projects and strategies.
- ESG Business Case Development: Develop robust and compelling ESG business cases, demonstrating the financial and strategic benefits of sustainable practices.
- Fund Mobilization & Investment Guidance: Guide clients on effective fund mobilization strategies for sustainability initiatives, and advise on investor portfolio assessments & responsible investment practices.
- Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring deep understanding of their needs and delivering tailored sustainability finance solutions.
- Team Management: Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams, ensuring high-quality delivery and fostering professional growth.
Skills
- 6+ years of experience in sustainability, specifically within consulting or market research in the Finance, ESG, Climate Finance, and Carbon Market sectors.
- Proven ability to lead sustainability projects & ESG initiatives.
- Expertise in providing climate finance advisory.
- Strong capabilities in building ESG business cases.
- Proficiency in guiding clients on fund mobilization, investor portfolio assessments, & responsible investment.
- Demonstrated experience in client engagement & team management.
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and presentation skills.
Qualifications
- CFA Level 3 / MBA with 6+ years of experience in sustainability finance.
- Proven track record of success in advisory or consulting roles focused on sustainability and ESG in the financial sector.
