We are seeking a skilled Surgery Coding Trainer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in surgical coding and will be responsible for training healthcare professionals in accurate coding practices. The trainer will develop training materials, conduct sessions, and ensure that participants are well-versed in the latest coding standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct training sessions for surgery coding for healthcare professionals.
• Develop and update training materials and resources for coding standards.
• Assess the training needs of participants and tailor sessions accordingly.
• Provide hands-on coding practice and real-case scenarios to enhance learning.
• Evaluate participants understanding and performance through assessments and feedback.
• Stay updated with the latest coding guidelines and changes in regulations.
• Facilitate discussions and answer queries related to coding practices.

Skills and Qualifications

• 6-10 years of experience in medical coding, specifically in surgical coding.
• In-depth knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and Surgery coding systems.
• Strong understanding of surgical procedures and terminology.
• Experience in training or educating healthcare staff in coding practices.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to create engaging training materials and resources.
• Proficiency in using coding software and databases.
• Certification in medical coding (e.g., CPC, CCS, COC) is preferred.
