Responsibilities:
Coding & Documentation
- Review operative notes and assign accurate CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes.
- Ensure correct modifiers and coding compliance per payer/CMS guidelines.
- Verify documentation completeness and follow up with providers when necessary.
Revenue & Denial Management
- Support charge capture and resolve coding-related denials.
- Maintain coding accuracy and compliance standards in all submissions.
Compliance & Updates
- Maintain HIPAA compliance while handling patient information.
- Stay updated on annual coding changes, guidelines, and industry best practices.
