Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Support Staff to join our House Keeping & Laundry team at Aster Medcity, located in Ameerpet. The ideal candidate will have in the field.

Roles and Responsibility

  • Manage and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in patient rooms and public areas.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and excellent customer service.
  • Develop and implement effective cleaning schedules and procedures to prevent cross contamination.
  • Train and supervise new staff members on cleaning techniques and safety protocols.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any issues or concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, inventories, and staff performance.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in housekeeping and laundry services, preferably in a hospital setting.
  • Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, infection control, and health and safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to lift heavy cleaning equipment and supplies, stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality management or a related field preferred.
