Job Description
The Warehouse Engineer is responsible for managing and optimizing warehouse operations related to iron and steel materials, spares, and finished goods. The role ensures safe storage, accurate inventory control, smooth material movement, and compliance with quality, safety, and statutory requirements to support uninterrupted plant operations..
Principal Accountabilities
Ensure proper stacking identification and preservation of iron and steel materials to prevent damage corrosion or lossbr Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels using SAP systems to ensure data integrity and availabilitybr Coordinate with production procurement dispatch and logistics teams to ensure timely material availability and movement thereby supporting seamless operationsbr Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile any discrepancies to maintain accurate inventory recordsbr Ensure compliance with safety standards including safe lifting crane operations and the use of material handling equipment to prevent workplace accidentsbr Prepare MIS reports on inventory status material consumption and warehouse performance to provide insights and support decisionmaking processes
