The Assistant Engineer for Support Oxygen Plant WML plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of oxygen generation and related gas plants. The role requires close coordination with maintenance teams to ensure all equipment is functioning optimally and adheres to safety standards. The Assistant Engineer is responsible for supporting the uninterrupted supply of oxygen, nitrogen, and argon to internal customers, emphasizing operational discipline and safety compliance. Additionally, the role involves providing troubleshooting support and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant performance. Principal Accountabilities
Support daytoday operations of the Oxygen Air Separation Unit ASU to ensure uninterrupted supply of oxygen nitrogen and argonbr Monitor and record process parameters such as pressure temperature purity and flow through DCSPLC systemsbr Assist in plant startup shutdown and changeover activities under the guidance of senior engineersbr Coordinate with Mechanical Electrical and Instrumentation teams for preventive and breakdown maintenancebr Ensure strict adherence to oxygen safety standards SOPs permittowork systems and LOTO proceduresbr Identify abnormalities in plant performance and support troubleshooting to minimize downtimebr Maintain shift logs operational records and daily reports accuratelybr Support compliance with statutory safety and environmental requirementsbr Participate in safety drills audits and toolbox talksbr Assist in implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant efficiency and safety
