What You'll Do
- The Cyber Defense Automation (CDA) team supports all of Cyber Defense by designing, building, and maintaining playbooks and automations within the SOAR platform. This role requires a strong blend of software development expertise and deep understanding of incident response workflows and operational processes. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience working in both a development-focused role and an incident response or security operations role, enabling them to translate real-world security needs into scalable, effective automation.
- This is a newly created position intended to support critical Cyber Defense projects and strategic initiatives, while also addressing a growing backlog of automation and playbook work resulting from significant tooling and enterprise changes over the past year. As Cyber Defense transitions to Enterprise Security capabilities, the volume and complexity of new automation opportunities will increase significantly.
- Without added capacity, the CDA team risks falling behind in delivering the next generation of playbooks and automations needed to support the organizations security maturity. This role will be a key contributor to accelerator and enablement efforts, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality automations that enhance detection, response, and operational efficiency across Cyber Defense.
