Project context
We are seeking a six month to 2years experience SAP functional technician that will be responsible for the day-to-day management, monitoring, and support of SAP users.This role focuses on incident management, troubleshooting,monitoring, escalation and performing Non-regression test.
24x7 - This role demands to work in monthly rotational shift (Follow the Sun hours (US, EU, Asia) adaptation)
Objectives of this role
- Provide level 1 support in the areas of SAP with basic knowledge of transaction codes
- Provide technical support, training and troubleshooting to end-users for SAP.
- Should be able to monitor the SAP jobs in SM35, SM35 and Idoc processing etc
- Basic bug fix and troubleshooting of failed jobs
- Re-run of the jobs which are ended up in error
- Collaborate with clients to make them understand of SM and level 1 activities
- Perform Non regression testing during the monthly releases.
Education and experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology or a related field.
- 0.5 -2 years of experience in supporting SAP functional areas.
- Functional Knowledge of SAP FICO/MM/SD/PP/QM/EHS/LE/PM and other major modules.
- Interface knowledge with SAP and Non-SAP systems.
- ITIL certification

- Relevant certifications like SAP Certified Technology Associate and SAP Certified Development Associate.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
