Support Analyst, Finance Systems

A Support Analyst in Finance Systems provides technical and functional support for financial systems, ensuring they function efficiently and accurately. This role involves troubleshooting issues, managing master data, and collaborating with finance and IT teams to improve systems and processes. They also play a crucial role in user training and support, ensuring users can effectively utilize the financial systems. 

Key Responsibilities:

Troubleshooting and Support:

• Resolve technical issues and user queries related to the financial systems, often using service management systems like Zendesk. 

Master Data Management:

• Maintain the accuracy and consistency of master data, including business partner records. 

System Improvement:

• Work with finance and IT teams to identify and implement improvements to financial systems and processes. 

User Training:

• Train end-users on the functionalities of the financial systems and best practices. 

Data Integrity:

• Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the financial systems, performing regular reconciliations. 

Process Support:

• Support month-end and year-end closing processes, often within the framework of a system like SAP B1. 

Collaboration:

• Work with various teams (finance, IT, external vendors) to address issues and implement improvements.
