What would you do The Sr. Analyst / Analyst Trading Operations acts as a central operational hub between stores, distribution centers (DCs), and trading teams. The role is responsible for managing inbound trading-related queries from stores and DCs, resolving stock-on-hold issues, and supporting smooth execution of trading decisions to protect availability, sales, and customer experience in a fast-paced clothing retail environment. Fulfill in supply chain planning refers to the process of completing customer orders by ensuring products are picked, packed, and delivered efficiently. It involves managing inventory, coordinating logistics, and ensuring timely delivery to meet customer expectations. The goal is to ensure that orders are accurately and promptly fulfilled. A solution that automates and integrates key service fulfillment processes, including back-office order orchestration, network and service inventory management, service activation and configuration management.

  • 5-8 years of experience in retail operations, supply chain, pricing, or merchandising support
  • Strong understanding of retail trading operations and stock flows in a clothing retail environment.
  • Experience handling store and DC operational queries.
  • Familiarity with stock-on-hold processes, DC operations, and inventory controls.
  • Working knowledge of retail systems

  • Ability to work cross-functionally with commercial and operational teams Roles and Responsibilities: Store Trading Query Management
  • Manage inbound trading queries from stores related to stock availability, allocations, replenishment, transfers, and trading decisions.
  • Investigate and resolve issues impacting store trading performance in line with agreed SLAs.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for urgent store trading issues affecting sales or customer service.
  • Ensure clear, timely communication back to stores on resolution and next steps. DC Trading & Stock-on-Hold Management
  • Manage DC trading queries, including allocation issues, dispatch delays, shortages, and exceptions.
  • Investigate and resolve stock-on-hold at DCs due to quality checks, system blocks, damages, compliance, or operational constraints.
  • Coordinate with DC operations, quality, and stock integrity teams to release or rework held stock.
  • Track root causes of stock-on-hold and support corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Trading Execution Support
  • Support execution of trading decisions such as reallocations, recalls, prioritization of key lines, and urgent intake.
  • Work closely with Trading, Merchandising, Supply Chain, and Logistics teams to ensure decisions are implemented accurately and on time.
  • Support peak, event, and clearance trading activity with heightened operational monitoring. Reporting & Controls
  • Maintain logs and reporting for store and DC trading queries, stock-on-hold volumes, and resolution times.
  • Provide daily and weekly insight on operational issues impacting trading performance.
  • Ensure data accuracy and audit compliance across trading operations processes.
  • Identify recurring issues and support process improvements and system enhancements., Any Graduation
