Selected Intern's Day-to-day Responsibilities Include
- Understand demand and supply drivers across product categories
- Build input-driven forecasts for procurement and inventory planning
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for planning and execution
- Negotiate rates with vendors and onboard new partners
- Reduce shipping, warehouse, and delivery losses
- Minimize out-of-stock situations
- Work with tools like Zoho Inventory, Unicommerce, and other SCM platforms
- Build and maintain long-term vendor relationships
- Track resource and space requirements across fulfillment centers
- Support daily supply chain operations with data insights
- Analyze large datasets to identify bottlenecks and cost-saving opportunities
- Create dashboards and reports for weekly/monthly performance reviews
- Suggest innovative ways to improve speed, reliability, and sustainability
