Job Description

Responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and reports for investment funds. The job description for a CA Fresher in Fund Accounting typically includes :
Recording and reconciling daily transactions for assigned funds.
Reviewing and verifying pricing, net asset values, and other key data.
Performing daily and monthly accounting procedures, such as calculating management fees, income allocations, and expense accruals. Providing support for audits, tax returns, and other financial reporting requirements.
Maintaining proper documentation and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Communicating with internal and external clients regarding accounting matters.
Collaborating with other departments to resolve any accounting issues.
Staying current on industry developments and best practices.
Participating in process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of accounting processes. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and experience with accounting software. Good communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team, are also important.
