Job Purpose/ Summary
The Project Design Engineer is responsible for preparing and reviewing engineering drawings, technical calculations, and design documentation for pipe-related projects. The role includes analyzing project specifications, developing design solutions, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
The engineer also supports project planning, design reviews, and technical coordination with clients and internal departments, ensuring that all design activities align with project schedules and manufacturing capabilities.

Job Description
The Senior Engineer in the Projects Design department will play a pivotal role in leading and managing design projects, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and compliance with API and ISO standards. This position requires a strategic thinker who can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to align project goals with customer needs and organizational objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in optimizing project operations and maintenance costs by providing cost-effective solutions and utilizing available resources efficiently. A key aspect of this role is to ensure the production plan is executed seamlessly by ensuring the readiness of plants for all projects. The Senior Engineer will also be responsible for providing error-free drawings and increasing team efficiency by creating a design standard component library. Additionally, the role involves developing subordinates in 3D modeling and Finite Element Analysis (FEA. to enhance team capabilities. A strong focus on Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE. standards throughout all project phases is essential.
Software Proficiency: Strong knowledge of CAD systems (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Auto desk inventor,3D modeling in solid Edge/Pro-E. and MS Office.Technical Skills: Ability to create technical drawings, interpret specifications, and perform engineering calculations& FEA in Auto desk enventor/Solid EdgeAnalytical & Creative: Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot design issues and develop innovative solutionsExperience: must have 6 to 10 yrs hands on experience worked with Design department in industries Viz.- Machine building/Equipment Manufacturing/Machine tools Manufacturing,Material Handling/Gear Box/Crane manufacturing, 3D Modeling
