Job Description

Basic Scope of Job

Responsible for the implementation, configuration, and support of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP).

This role requires deep expertise in payroll processes, legal compliance, and integrations with core HR and third-party systems.

The consultant will liaise with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure timely and accurate payroll operations and successful project delivery.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in SAP HCM and SuccessFactors ECP implementation and support.
  • Must have completed at least 1 full lifecycle implementation of SAP ECP.
  • Proficient in configuring and maintaining global and country-specific payroll schemas, rules, and wage types.
  • Strong understanding of Employee Central and its integration with:
  • Payroll Control Center
  • Time Off
  • Time Sheet

Hands-on experience in:

  • Payroll process configuration and execution
  • Post payroll activities (GL posting, bank transfers, etc.)
  • Year-end processing and statutory reporting
  • Payroll Control Center (PCC) configuration and operations
  • Solid experience in SuccessFactors standard integrations using SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) or Boomi.
  • Strong knowledge of Data Replication Monitor, Business Configuration (BCUI), and SAP Payroll InfoTypes.
  • Able to manage PA, OM, and Time Management integration points with payroll.
  • Experience troubleshooting replication errors between EC and ECP.
  • Proficient in preparing functional specifications, test plans, and technical documentation.
  • Capable of conducting requirement gathering sessions, workshops, and user training.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and legal payroll regulations.
  • Provide ongoing system support, maintenance, and enhancements.

Position Requirements

  • Education: B.Tech in Computer Science, HRIS, or a related field
  • Certification: SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll Certification is required
  • Experience: 7+ Years (Telecom industry experience is a plus)
  • Language: Fluent in English (written and spoken)
