Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver subscription revenue targets for Moneycontrol Pro and Super Pro, ensuring consistent month-on-month and annual growth.
  • Develop and execute the end-to-end subscription strategy, including acquisition, pricing, packaging, upsell/cross-sell, and new revenue lines to expand the subscription P&L.
  • Identify and build new innovative revenue lines by leveraging new product features, content formats, partnerships, B2B deals and identify and execute new monetization models.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Growth, Marketing and Technology teams to plan, optimize, and scale marketing and product-led acquisition funnels.
  • Drive performance marketing and lifecycle marketing, including segmentation, onboarding journeys, win-back flows, upgrade nudges, and personalized communication.
  • Monitor subscription metrics deeplyconversion rates, churn, retention rate, plan cohorts specific plan, acquisition costsand take data-driven decisions to improve subscriber base and drive subscription P&L.
  • Lead retention strategy for Pro and Super Pro, focusing on improving customer stickiness through differentiated content, engagement initiatives, and personalized experiences.
  • Plan and execute online and offline events, webinars, masterclasses, and expert sessions aimed at acquisition, retention, and incremental revenue generation.
  • Stay ahead of industry shifts, understanding evolving consumer behavior, subscription trends, and competitive landscape to adapt strategy proactively.
  • Create pricing and promotional strategies backed by data and experimentation to maximize LTV and reduce churn without diluting brand value.
  • Own end-to-end subscriber experience, ensuring friction-free onboarding, renewals, payments, and customer support processes.
  • Work with Analytics and Finance teams to track P&L performance, forecast growth, and report business insights to leadership

Key Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in subscription businesses, digital revenue management, growth roles, or related domains.
  • Strong understanding of subscription metrics such as CAC, LTV, churn, ARPU, conversion funnels, and cohort analysis.
  • Proven experience in driving revenue growth through acquisition, retention, upsell, and pricing strategies.
  • Ability to conceptualize and execute revenue-generating initiatives, including events, partnerships, and product-led monetization.
  • Hands-on experience with performance marketing, CRM, and lifecycle management tools
  • Data-driven decision making, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Editorial, Technology, and Analytics teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience presenting to senior leadership.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, target-driven environments and managing end-to-end ownership of revenue goals.
  • Exposure to pricing, packaging, experimentation (A/B testing) and understanding consumer behavior trends.
  • Demonstrated ability to scale subscription or digital businesses, preferably in media, fintech, or consumer tech.
