Subject Matter Expert (SME) – Curriculum Review

Role Overview

We are looking for experienced Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in Mathematics, Science, and English to review and refine the NeuriX AI international curriculum, including structured notes and worksheets.

This role is subject-specific, and candidates are expected to apply for their area of expertise (Mathematics, Science, or English).

The role focuses on ensuring that the content is academically accurate, well-structured, student-friendly, and ready for real student use. This is a review and enhancement role, not content creation from scratch.

Key Responsibilities

• Review existing curriculum content, including notes and worksheets, for accuracy and completeness 

• Identify and correct conceptual, grammatical, and structural errors 

• Ensure content aligns with international academic standards (K–12 level) 

• Improve clarity, flow, and student readability of explanations 

• Validate questions, exercises, and solutions for correctness and appropriate difficulty level 

• Ensure worksheets are logically structured and effective for student practice 

• Suggest improvements to enhance learning effectiveness and engagement 

• Maintain consistency across topics, modules, and levels 

• Provide clear and structured feedback to the content team 

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in the relevant subject (Mathematics, Science, or English) 

• Minimum 5 years of experience in teaching or academic content development (K–12 level) 

• Proven experience in curriculum development, academic content creation, or content review 

• Strong understanding of international curriculum standards (CBSE, ICSE, IB, Cambridge, or equivalent) 

• Ability to review and refine academic content for accuracy, clarity, and student readiness 

• Strong attention to detail and academic rigor 

• Experience working with structured notes, worksheets, and assessments 

• Ability to simplify complex concepts for student understanding 

• Prior experience in EdTech or digital learning platforms is an advantage 

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical thinking with the ability to identify gaps, errors, and inconsistencies in academic content 

• High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining academic accuracy and quality 

• Ability to provide clear, structured, and constructive feedback for content improvement 

• Strong understanding of student learning behavior and ability to assess content from a student's perspective 

• Ability to simplify and refine complex concepts into clear, student-friendly explanations 

• Self-driven and capable of working independently in a remote environment 

• Strong time management skills to review and deliver content within deadlines 

• Open to collaboration and iterative improvement with the content and AI teams 

Compensation

Compensation will be based on experience and scope of work (per module / worksheet / hourly basis).
