Position Summary

The Assessment Expert will serve as a psychometric expert to lead work on a State Education Assessment project and other projects. They will plan, coordinate, and conduct the statistical work required to support the establishment and success of the contract for the external client.

This Assessment Expert will demonstrate expertise in developing competency/learning outcome-based materials for formative and summative assessments for Literacy

This role will be based in Guwahati and the successful candidate must be willing and able to commute to this location

Minimum Qualification

  • Post-graduate degree in Education
  • Specific certification in assessment and psychometrics

Required Experience

  • 10+ years of professional experience of experience in assessment development, for Literacy
  • Proficiency in local language(s) of the state is highly preferable.
  • Experience in developing and delivering training modules/manuals on pedagogy, assessments, and data use
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills; ability to work with SCERT, DIETs, and teachers.
  • Experience in Education Assessment project for government entity is preferred.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in multi-stakeholder environments, including with government agencies or education boards.
  • Experience in creating reports, presentations, and operational documentation for large-scale projects.
  • Familiarity with data collection tools, survey platforms, and analysis methodologies.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, project management tools, and online survey platforms.

  • Familiarity with education and assessment frameworks.
