Job Description

Strong knowledge of fabrication processes including cutting, bending, forming, and welding.
Expertise in welding technologies (SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, SAW, etc.) and related standards.
Ability to develop and qualify WPS, PQR, and welder qualifications.
Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, GD&T, and weld symbols.
Knowledge of materials (ferrous, non-ferrous, alloys) and their fabrication characteristics.
Familiarity with NDT methods (UT, RT, PT, MT, etc.) for weld inspection.
Exposure to automation, robotics, and digital tools in fabrication.
Proficiency in ERP/SAP and MS Office for process control and reporting.
Understanding of lean manufacturing, problem-solving tools (RCA, FMEA, 8D), and cost optimization.
Resource optimization and arrangement for the fabrication shops.
Co-ordination with vendors for the technical doubt clearance and arrangement of tools on time.
