Role Snapshot:

The incumbent will be responsible for covering the religion, philosophy, and spiritual content.

What You Will Do:

● Curate, edit, and refine content related to religion, spirituality, festivals, rituals, astrology, yoga, wellness, and philosophy.

● Stay updated on spiritual trends, emerging practices, and global conversations in the domain of spirituality.

● Ensure content is factually accurate, engaging, and culturally sensitive.

● Create compelling headlines and ensure stories are optimized for digital-first audiences.

● Monitor and cover real-time developments around important religious events, festivals, and spiritual gatherings.

● Ensure all content adheres to Jagran's editorial standards and maintains balance, inclusivity, and credibility.

● Suggest innovative formats such as explainers, visual stories, Q&As, or guides to enhance audience engagement.

What We Want:

● Postgraduate degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Religious Studies, or a related field

● 1-3 years of editorial experience, preferably with specialization in spirituality, religion, or lifestyle content.

● Strong editorial judgment, copy-editing skills, and command over the English language. - Good understanding of SEO and digital storytelling techniques.

● Ability to work under deadlines while maintaining high quality and accuracy.
