Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Study Visa Counselor based in Chandigarh. The Study Visa Counselor will assist students through the entire process of applying for study visas, including providing guidance on application procedures, preparing documentation, and offering counseling on study abroad options. The counselor will maintain clear and professional communication with educational institutions, students, and their families, and ensure timely updates and resolution of queries. Additionally, responsibilities include staying updated on visa regulations and any changes to immigration policies.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of study visa application processes, immigration rules, and international education systems
• Proficiency in counseling, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills to guide students and families
• Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple student cases simultaneously
• Proficient in preparing and reviewing documentation with attention to detail
• Ability to maintain professional relationships with educational institutions and other stakeholders
• Familiarity with multicultural environments and cross-cultural communication
• Diploma or degree in counseling, international relations, or a related field
• Previous experience in education consultancy or immigration services is an advantage
