LOCATION : Bengaluru / Mumbai / Gurgaon

OBJECTIVE

This role is a blend of creative leadership, strategic oversight, business outlook and collaboration with various stakeholders. It is pivotal in shaping aesthetic and functional aspects of Workplaces, ensuring they meet both client expectations and user needs effectively

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Creative Leadership:

  • Oversee and direct the design team to create innovative and functional interior designs that align with the company's vision and client needs.
  • Establish and maintain brand guidelines that reflect the company's identity and values across all design projects

Client Engagement:

  • Meet with clients to understand their design preferences, target audience, and project objectives, ensuring that designs are user centered.
  • Present design concepts to clients, incorporating feedback to refine and finalize designs.

Project Management:

  • Manage the entire design process from conception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, engineering, and product management, to ensure cohesive project execution

Team Development:

  • Mentor and lead the design team, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages creativity and professional growth.
  • Participate in recruitment processes for new design team members, contributing to job descriptions and candidate evaluations.

Strategic Planning:

  • Define the overall design strategy for the company's projects, aligning it with business objectives and market trends.
  • Conduct user research to inform design decisions and ensure that designs meet customers needs effectively.
  • RFPs - Ensure all design/design-build RFPs are understood and analyzed along with completeness of design and commercial proposal submission within timelines.
  • Drive the design studio as PnL, ensuring YoY profitability meets organization's business objectives.

Qualifications

  • B.Arch. /M. Arch/Any other relevant degree

EXPERIENCE

  • 12-18 years of experience in Workplace design
