About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and student-focused Academy Counsellor to join our Web Development & Digital Marketing Academy. The ideal candidate will guide students throughout their learning journeyfrom course selection and admissions to career planning and placement support.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel prospective students on course offerings (Web Development, Digital Marketing, etc.) and recommend programs based on their goals.
- Handle admission enquiries through calls, emails, WhatsApp, social media, and walk-ins.
- Provide ongoing support to enrolled students, ensuring a smooth learning experience.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, admissions, and student progression.
- Coordinate with trainers to understand student performance and address academic concerns.
- Support students with resume building, interview guidance, and career pathways.
- Plan and participate in student engagement activities, workshops, and orientation sessions.
- Achieve monthly admission targets and contribute to overall academy growth.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any field (Education, Marketing or Psychology preferred).
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to understand student needs and provide the right guidance.
- Familiarity with Web Development or Digital Marketing domains (added advantage, not mandatory).
- Sales or counselling experience in EdTech/Training institutes is a plus.
- Good organizational and follow-up skills.
