We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Structural Team Lead to oversee our structural engineering and BIM projects. The candidate will be responsible for guiding a team of engineers and modelers, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring high-quality deliverables in line with project timelines and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the structural engineering & BIM team on multiple projects.
- Review and guide the development of structural drawings, models, and construction documentation.
- Coordinate with architectural, MEP, and construction teams for project integration.
- Ensure compliance with industry codes, project specifications, and BIM execution plans.
- Perform design checks, clash detection, and model validation.
- Mentor and train junior engineers and BIM modelers.
- Monitor project progress, allocate resources, and ensure on-time delivery.
- Support in preparing technical reports, calculations, and documentation for approvals.
- Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and contractors to resolve technical issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil / Structural Engineering.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in structural engineering and BIM/construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of structural design principles, building codes, and standards.
- Proficiency in BIM software (Revit, Navisworks, Tekla, AutoCAD) and structural analysis tools (ETABS, STAAD Pro, SAFE).
- Experience in managing a team and delivering coordinated BIM models.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
