VGPA Architecture Studio is currently hiring a Structural Design Engineer with mandatory expertise in steel structure design using STAAD Pro. This position is intended for professionals who can independently manage structural analysis, load calculations, steel optimization, STAAD Pro reporting, and RCC structure design using ETABS.
Position Details- Experience: 2 to 4 years
- Work Location: Kharadi, Pune (On-site)
- Project Exposure: Projects across Maharashtra and Dubai
Mandatory Technical Skills- Steel structure design using STAAD Pro (Mandatory)
- Independent load calculations (Dead Load, Live Load, Wind Load, Seismic Load)
- Steel member design and optimization in STAAD Pro
- Ability to generate, analyze, and interpret STAAD Pro design and calculation reports
- RCC structure design using ETABS
- Preparation of BOQs, quantity take-offs, and cost estimation
- Preparation and coordination of structural and civil working drawings
Codes & Standards- Working knowledge of IS 800, IS 875, IS 1893, and IS 456 is mandatory
Mandatory Qualifications- B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Mandatory)
- M.Tech in Structural Engineering (Mandatory)
Other Requirements- Strong coordination and communication skills with architects, consultants, and site teams
- Candidate must be able to commute daily to the Kharadi, Pune office, or be willing to relocate to Pune
