Job Description

We are looking for a Structural Engineer with 2-6 years of experience to join our Power team. The ideal candidate will be a highly capable professional with a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering who can independently evaluate and apply standard engineering techniques to complex problems. This role requires extensive coordination with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, focusing on the structural design of power plant facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Structural Design & Analysis: You will perform routine and complex calculations and designs using both computer-aided and manual design techniques. This includes the design of equipment foundations and structural steel for pipe racks and other power plant structures.
  • Problem-Solving: You must be capable of interpreting and developing solutions to complex problems, and be able to devise new approaches to challenges as they arise.
  • Project Coordination: You will coordinate project design assignments and lead design teams. This role requires extensive interaction with equipment suppliers, vendors, project managers, and other engineering disciplines both locally and in the U.S.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited program.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2-6 years of related experience. Previous consulting engineering experience in the power industry is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in software such as RISA-3D, RISA Foundation, Ram Connection, STAAD.Pro, Navisworks, and/or Smart Plant Review.
  • Personal Attributes: Excellent written and verbal communication, strong analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential. You must be able to work methodically and analytically, applying your knowledge to a variety of assignments.
