Job Description

Job Purpose:

  • Support the structural design team in coordinating, reviewing, and executing engineering aspects of Embassy projects, ensuring compliance, quality, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing structural design documentation for internal reviews and presentations.
  • Support the senior engineering team in analyzing structural systems using software tools.
  • Help track design deliverables and timelines to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Coordinate with vendors and procurement teams to gather technical data and specifications.
  • Participate in quality checks and audits of structural works at project sites.
  • Assist in preparing responses to RFIs (Requests for Information) and technical queries from contractors.
  • Contribute to research and benchmarking of innovative structural materials and technologies.
  • Help prepare cost estimates and quantity take-offs for structural components.
  • Maintain organized records of correspondence, drawings, and approvals for audit and reference.
  • Support sustainability and safety initiatives in structural design and execution.

Qualifications and Work Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil/Structural Engineering
  • 10 years of proven experience in structural engineering (internships or project experience preferred)

Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:

  • Basic understanding of structural design principles and construction methods
  • Familiarity with building codes and standards
  • Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., ETABS, STAAD Pro, SAFE)
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a collaborative environment
