We are seeking a motivated and skilled Structural Design Engineer with 1-6 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in structural engineering principles and a passion for designing safe and efficient structures. The role involves working on a variety of projects, conducting analyses, preparing detailed designs, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop and design structural systems for various types of construction projects including residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
- Conduct structural analysis and simulations to ensure safety, stability, and performance of structures under various load conditions.
- Prepare detailed design drawings, specifications, and reports using CAD software.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure seamless project execution and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Participate in site inspections and assessments to evaluate existing structures and provide recommendations for repairs or modifications.
- Assist in the preparation of project proposals and cost estimates.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering from a recognized university.
- 1-6 years of experience in structural design, preferably in the Indian construction industry.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software such as STAAD Pro, ETABS, or SAP2000.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and standards applicable in India.
- Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit for drafting and modeling.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
