Structural BIM Modeler

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Structural BIM Modeler with 3+ years of experience in structural modeling and detailing. The candidate should have strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit Structure, knowledge of structural drawings, and experience delivering accurate BIM models for international projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed 3D structural BIM models using Autodesk Revit Structure.
• Prepare structural models for concrete and steel structures based on design and construction drawings.
• Produce structural shop drawings, reinforcement detailing, sections, elevations, and schedules.
• Work on LOD 300, LOD 400, and LOD 500 BIM deliverables as required by the project.
• Coordinate structural models with architectural and MEP disciplines.
• Perform model reviews and resolve clashes using Autodesk Navisworks.
• Create and modify Revit families and structural components when required.
• Ensure model accuracy, drawing quality, and compliance with project BIM standards.
• Collaborate with BIM Coordinators, Engineers, and other project team members to meet deadlines.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in Structural BIM Modeling.
• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit Structure.
• Good understanding of structural drawings, construction methods, and detailing.
• Knowledge of concrete structures, steel structures, and reinforcement detailing.
• Familiarity with Autodesk Navisworks for coordination and clash detection.
• Understanding of BIM standards, LOD requirements, and project documentation.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on GCC/Gulf projects.
• Knowledge of BIM execution plans (BEP) and international BIM standards.
• Experience with rebar modeling, structural steel detailing, and fabrication-level modeling.
• Familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud or BIM 360.
