Carry out Fatigue Damage and Life Estimation calculations for structural integrity over service life.
Utilize Hypermesh for model preparation and meshing, and OptiStruct for structural analysis and optimization.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design robustness and manufacturability.
Prepare and deliver engineering reports, technical documentation, and calculation notes in accordance with rail industry standards and quality procedures.
Review results, interpret findings, and provide design recommendations for improvements in durability, safety, and performance.
Support continuous improvement initiatives in structural analysis methods, simulation workflows, and process automation.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical.
Proven experience in Static, Dynamic, and Fatigue structural analysis for rolling stock or similar heavy engineering applications.
Hands-on expertise with Hypermesh (for meshing) and OptiStruct (for analysis).
Strong understanding of rail standards, structural integrity requirements, and fatigue life assessment methodologies.
Excellent technical writing, reporting, and documentation skills.
Familiarity with quality management systems and engineering documentation standards.
