STRENGTH & DURABILITY TESTING IN LAB

Job Role

• Execution of data acquisition bench test activity
• Data analysis, result compilation, report preparation, communication
• Co-ordination with CAE/design team for result validation and implementation
• Equipment calibration and AMC
• Fixture design / experimental testing

Competency Requirements

Technical/Functional:

• Hands-on experience in component fatigue durability testing
• Ability to understand component characteristics and drawing, ability to operate UG software
• Ability to do strain gaging and data acquisition
• Ability to conduct data analysis using GlyphWorks software
• Understanding on hydraulic actuators and setup functionality of durability lab requirements (optional)
• Exposure to vehicle simulation (optional)
• Strong fundamentals and higher experience in related functional area (CAE / Suspension design / Sheet metal / Knowledge of materials)
